During the visit he was able to call at the Distribution Centre and to see at first hand the extensive range of Welsh and English-language books in stock.  He also had an opportunity to visit Castell Brychan, and was given a presentation on the Council’s core service in marketing, editing, design and the promotion of children’s books.
‘It was a pleasure to welcome the Minister on his visit,’ said Gwerfyl Pierce Jones, Director of the Books Council, ‘during the period of the National Assembly’s policy review of English-medium writing in Wales.’
