PENfro Book Festival

The PENfro Book Festival, a celebration of writing, reading, publishing and bookselling, was held at Rhosygilwen, Rhoshill, Pembrokeshire on Saturday 17 September, from 7.00 pm and Sunday 18 September, from 11.00 am

The PENfro Book Festival is an innovative, new event in the heart of west Wales, offering a unique opportunity for writers, readers, publishers and booksellers to meet, and enjoy an array of events. Book stalls, competition results, awards, workshops and talks will provide a stimulating day for all.

There were appearances from a host of authors including: Trevor Fishlock, Jo Verity, Patrick McGuinness, Brian John, Catrin Collier, Caryl Lewis, Dai Smith, Ceri Wyn Jones, Fflur Dafydd, Gillian Clarke and Tony Curtis.

The event was organised by a diverse group of local writers, artists, journalists and publishers and supported by Literature Wales, Menter Rhosygilwen, Pembrokeshire County Council and the Welsh Books Council.
